I wanted to follow up on the email I sent you earlier about my
participation in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. I've been spending the past few
weeks preparing for the event and have really made a lot of progress. So far
I've raised almost 25% of my fundraising goal. My training is also going
well. I've walked 100 miles in the last 5 weeks. I can hardly wait to hit the
route with the thousands of other women and men who are joining together for
this common cause.
I have also started on a quilt that I am going to raffle off to my
Fundraising Supporters. Those who have already pledged donations will recieve
tickets too! More details regarding ticket prices, etc coming soon!
There is still time for you to support my efforts with a donation. The net
proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening and
treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic
Trust Breast Cancer Fund.
